AN INSTALLER APP FOR DANFOSS
The ‘everything under one roof’ app
We were asked by Danish multinational engineering company Danfoss to design and build a one-app solution to enable hassle-free operations among the company's many thousands of installation professionals around the world.
Over the years, Danfoss has developed a series of digital monitoring and measurement tools resulting in a rather large and complex app universe. So the Danfoss plumbers, as well as heating and HVAC professionals and installers, had to juggle multiple apps – each with its own function and purpose – in order to actually do their job.
Not cool.
And so, the Danfoss Installer App was brought to life. A single-access point based on user needs to reduce the effort needed for maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, etc.
The Installer App provides a variety of handy tools – information, tools, tips, and resources – able to assist the installation professionals in the field with whatever task is in front of them. Like a Swiss Army knife in their mobile device.
And there’s a little not-so-hidden bonus …
A real-time heat map shows exactly when and where the app is in use. We’ve recorded a rather impressive activity of approximately 220,000 users a month for Installer App.
Not. Too. Shabby.
“At Danfoss, the mobile interface is extremely business critical, as it allows us to be razor sharp in making the daily operations as easy and friction-free as possible for our installers in the field."
