Most people already had LOCTITE® as their first choice, but an effort was needed to further cement the LOCTITE® market position as a premium brand.

We concluded that the secret was to reposition LOCTITE® around the full package: partnership, expertise, innovation, and sustainability, rather than just focusing on the products. The result is Beyond the Bond, the HERO of our brand global positioning refresh. The film is a story: a representation of LOCTITE®’s human side. The side that speaks to a history of innovation, a huge portfolio, and a wealth of expertise and support that realises potential, grows businesses, and pioneers for generations to come.

While the HERO built a strong awareness, we unfolded the depth of the LOCTITE® differentiators through more focused chapters relating to each of the pillars. And multi audiences meant we needed a multi-channel approach. We created more than 700 assets, building the LOCTITE® brand with every engagement and touchpoint, and building incentive to keep converting through the journey.
